For those who were unaware, I have been hired by ESPN to help out with the MLB Draft Blog. I am incredibly excited about this opportunity, and have been pretty much smiling non-stop for a week.
So, with that and some other writing responsibilities, I know longer have unwavering amounts of time for MLB-DI. This is still my baby and I’m never going to let it go, but I need some help.
I’m looking to bring on one to three writers to help produce content, maintain the website and update the social media aspects of the website. the ideal candidate will have a passion for the draft and a willingness to produce one to two articles a week. You do not have to be a scouting expert, you don’t have to have contact with scouts and front-office members, and you don’t have to attend a ton of games. All of those things are nice, but they’re not necessary.
Please send an email to me, explain why you’re interested in the position, and if you can, a couple of writing examples that best encapsulates your ability to write.
It’ll be fun, I promise.
