The Mock 2013: Volume II

Thurman, Andrew

I said I was going to wait until Kyle Lohse signs Kyle Lohse has obviously signed. His timing couldn’t have been worse. I have updated in response.

Quite a few changes, which shouldn’t surprise anyone. There have been quite a few developments since we did this on February 20th.

And yes, we will have a chat this week. I have taken the time off work to do it, I owe it to all of you for breaking my promise three! times now.

If you have any questions, feel free to email me Christopher V Crawford at gmail, and I’ll answer them as quick as possible.

Have at it!

  2. fred says:

    Wouldn’t Aaron Judge’s power be a better pick for the M’s ??

    • Chris Crawford says:

Drafting for need is never the answer.

      • Fred says:

Never said draft for need. Obviously you take the best talent.
Do you prefer J.P.Crawford over Judge? Or is J.P. a nephew or
        cousin??

        • Chris Crawford says:

I took “Mariners draft power bat” as drafting for need, sorry. Crawford is #13 on my board. Judge is #23.

  3. Jim says:

    Okey?

  4. Joe says:

I cant see a scenario where Stanek would go before Frazier or Ziomek would go before DJ Petersen.

    • Chris Crawford says:

I wouldn’t do it. Can I see it happening though? Quiet easily, I’m afraid. Remember, this is a mock, not an order of best players.

  5. Jim says:

Where is Aaron Blair (Marshall) scouts that have his area will tell you he’s a 1st rounder and as good if not better than Anderson and Williams. Plus command 93-96, plus secondary. Carved up the cape, Anderson did not.

  6. [...]  He’s still listed as a “Verbal” Commit to U. Miami.  I’ve seen him as a late 1st rounder on some mock drafts.  Here’s a good scouting report on him from BaseballHounds.com.  Lastly there’s some [...]
